TRACKDAY ROUTINE
Know the flow. Show Up Ready
What to expect on Track Day
Whether it’s your first time or your 50th, knowing the routine for a motorcycle track day ensures you’re prepared and ready for fun.
Track day schedule
Get your bike inspected and paperwork sorted. Arrive early, lines move fast once riders start showing up.
Ride the circuit in a truck before you turn a lap. Learn the layout, spot your braking markers, find your lines.
Mandatory for every rider. Flags, rules, track-specific callouts. No exceptions — miss this and you don't ride.
Performance School students head to the classroom. Everyone else rolls out in rotation:
20-minute sessions, same order all day long.
Complimentary for riders. Sessions keep running — eat between sessions. The Ridge Motorsports Park is the only venue with a mandatory 12–1pm break.
Expert → Intermediate → Relaxed, running continuously. Exact end time varies by track.
Same rotation, tighter windows as the day winds down.
Half-hour qualifying session for prizes. Put in your fastest lap and see where you stack up.
Varies by track. Pack up, debrief with your crew, plan the next one.
